International School Linking programme

In March 2018 school will be sending in an application to be part of an international project linking with Polish and Romanian schools. Mrs James is leading the work and will keep everyone posted on any exciting developments.

As a school we are committed to the Global learning programme Wales. We will be developing links overseas 2017-18 with schools that have similar interests and ideas. We are part of a cluster of schools led by Bryn Celynog Comprehensive to work together on global ideas. Our school also is part of the international links network of schools working with the British Council.

Miss Miller and Mrs Morris are school's global co-ordinators. The school council and eco-committee support school's work. smileyno

We have achieved the Recognition of Commitment ROC for starting to become a Rights Respecting School. We are now working towards actions outlined for level 1. Miss Miller is leading and will be monitoring the progress that school makes towards embedding the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child into our ethos and curriculum. Assessors will then visit school to accredit progress.
