A Warm Welcome from the Headteacher

Hello and welcome to Trealaw Primary School — a small, friendly and happy school at the heart of our community, where every child is greeted with a smile and supported to shine. Our school is nestled in the heart of the Rhondda Valleys, Wales. With around 113 pupils, we’re proud to be a close-knit community where every child is known, valued, and supported.

As Headteacher, I’m proud to lead a team that is passionate about nurturing each child’s potential. We believe the early years of education are the building blocks for a lifelong love of learning, and we work hard to create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them.

At Trealaw, we celebrate what makes every child unique. Through creative and engaging learning experiences, we help children grow in confidence, curiosity, and kindness. Our dedicated staff work closely with families and the wider community to make sure every child’s journey is filled with meaningful opportunities and strong relationships.
