Our Class have been studying Volcanoes for this autumn 2019 term.
World book day! Fantastic effort from all children. We read the story the day the crayons quit. We pretended to be crayons and wrote letters to our owners. Then our chairs quit because we don't tuck them under! We persuaded them to come back by writing creative letters and pictures.

Immersion week! We arrived at school to hear evacuation sirens, we were handed an evacuation label and sent off away from our friends to another "place". We explored how this felt and how it was a surprise.
Spring Topic!
Our spring term topic is "A child's war". This topic gives us the exciting opportunity to explore World War 2.

Native American cave drawings! We used the Native symbols to create secret messages! We then went inside and wrote stories using the symbols!
We really enjoyed our trip to Mountain Ranch! Marshmallow roasting, story telling, gruffalo hunting and Native American tribe exploring!
