Today we decided to take our books into the sunshine. We enjoyed reading in small groups then sharing the stories back to everyone in the group.
After much discussion during book club and listening to learners across the school we have made our bookflix display.
We have been busy creating our own list of books to encourage reading.
This week in book club we looked at how we can put emotion into words. We read a story then used the words and changed them into our own!
We made and sold snowmen in the Christmas fete to raise money for new books.
Enid Blyton Winter Stories. Week 3: Continued Mr Stamp about looses his temper. Stacey led our reading today with the other children listening and asking questions.
Enid Blyton Winter Stories. Week 2: Mr Stamp about looses his temper. The children took it in turns to read the story as a group. We then discussed the language used.
Enid Blyton- Winter Stories. Week 1, Big foot is very clever. We read the story as a group then used the descriptive language to recreate big foot and the different footprints.
